Additional notes from Tristan : Gwen is very humble, but has had a tremendous impact on our community, as the founder of Trans Day of Remembrance. With this day she’s given a voice to those who’s stories are cut short too soon and has created a space for our community to mourn together. She’s a talented writer, activist, and most recently her autobiography was published. It was a honor to meet her and I thank her for her participation in this project.
