I have very clear memories of being little and believing I was a boy, and that my parents raised me as a girl because they wanted me to be a girl so badly. So I’ve continued doing traditionally feminine things – I love ballet, I think makeup is fascinating and weird, and dresses are usually less constricting than pants. I have never stopped feeling like I am a boy, a dude, or some sort of a bro. Monty Python’s Lumberjack Song may have been strangely influential for me, where it became clear to me in ways that dressing in women’s clothing, suspenders, and a bra did not make a lumberjack less of a man (even if that was far from the intention of the song). I thoroughly feel like a cross dressing man, despite being AFAB.
I am driven by whimsy, shadow work, creativity, playfulness, and facilitating comfortable environments in which true individuals have the opportunity to share their true selves.
