Mateó

February 6, 2019 by Tristan Crane

I am an indigenous qtpoc from Colombia. I come from the Muisca people and we were known for offering our deities (the sun and the moon) art in return for their magic. Through visual art, I found an outlet to express myself authentically starting at a really young age. Film is my first love. I am currently working on a horror flick called BRUJX, that will consist of an entire queer & trans cast + crew. Representation really matters and in all of my films, I plan to showcase only poc. I own Brujx Boutique, and opened shop last year around November. I sell witchy tools for all witches because I believe that everyone should have access to magic regardless of their financial status. As a nonbinary brown artist, I plan to start a revolución.
