I don’t believe borders exist and I look forward to a world free from prisons and police, where everyone is taken care of and people get their needs met.
I want to see gentleness, kindness and vulnerability rewarded and encouraged instead of ridiculed, punished and criminalized.
I’ve moved around a lot and though I am now close to the place of my birth, I still don’t know what “going home” means. We’re on stolen land.
My grandparents were refugees and immigrants who escaped fascism in Eastern Europe. Now that I’m here I don’t know where to go.
I identify as a spirit in a body. (or alternately: I hate cops.)
