I have always been a non binary person, I think I worked for a long time under the assumption that everyone was. It was only when I asked my friends and family to start using an alternate set of pronouns that I began to be confronted with the question ‘What does being non binary mean to you?” I started writing a series of autobio-comics, the ‘Genderqueer’ series in order to answer this question both for myself, and others. I now use the gender neutral pronouns e/em/eir and am so grateful at all of the support I have received.
